Utility-scale

Renew Holdings is spearheading the development of more than 1,000 MWp of utility-scale solar farms by 2030, positioning solar energy as a cornerstone of Nepal’s clean energy future. These projects are designed to supply reliable power to industrial and commercial sectors, reducing energy costs and environmental impacts. A pioneering feature is the integration of agrivoltaics, which combines solar generation with agricultural activities to enable dual land use. This model supports local farmers, enhances food security, and promotes sustainable development. To further ensure energy reliability, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are being incorporated, enabling stored solar energy to be supplied during evening demand peaks and dry seasons.

Rooftop

Alongside its large-scale projects, Renew Holdings is targeting the installation of 100 MWp of rooftop solar by 2030. These systems will directly serve businesses and institutions, helping them reduce electricity expenses while lowering carbon footprints. Rooftop installations provide localized, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions that complement grid supply and enhance resilience. By enabling distributed generation, Renew Holdings is contributing to Nepal’s broader transition toward affordable, reliable, and clean energy.
